I am the newest member of the administrative staff at Evans Middle School and Grovetown Middle School. I spend my mornings at EMS, and my afternoons at GTMS. I may only be present for half the day at each, but I am fully committed to both!I grew up in Miami, Florida, and earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Florida. I earned my Masters and Education Specialist Degrees from Augusta State University, and my Doctorate from Georgia Southern University.I have lived in Columbia County since 1994. I am married to a wonderful man named Mike and have three great kids: Megan (25), Logan (14), and Sarah (11). Megan is a graduate of UGA and is a film editor in Atlanta. Logan and Sarah attend Columbia County Schools.My teaching experience ranges from elementary regular education to middle and high school gifted education. While teaching, I also trained teachers in Georgia, Alabama, and Texas covering a variety of topics. My administrative experience includes being an assistant principal at Jamestown Elementary in Richmond County, and a principal at Dearing Elementary (PK-5th grade) and Norris Elementary (4-5th grade) in McDuffie County. I gained valuable, irreplaceable experience in my past roles and I look forward to the next part of my educational journey with the Columbia County community. I look forward to meeting you.
